A vision ready to be realised
We joined a project already in motion, as part of a broader collaborative team. Creative partner Jen Doran laid strong foundations, conceiving the loveable Veme mascot, developing the brand platform "Trust Veme", and defining the tone and character that would come to define the brand. Our role was to take that vision and carry it all the way to market.
What followed was one of the more rewarding creative challenges we've tackled: making the genuinely unfamiliar feel immediately obvious.
A world built around one character
The Veme mascot, bright yellow, warm and instantly likeable, needed a world to inhabit. Our team developed a distinctive visual language to match: a hand-crafted illustrated environment rendered entirely in black and white. The contrast is deliberate. Against a monochrome world, the Veme character pops with unmistakable energy, creating a look that is immediately ownable and endlessly flexible across every touchpoint. This hybrid of three-dimensional character and two-dimensional animated world became the visual signature of the brand.
Education as the engine
Launching a platform into a category that didn't previously exist means the creative has to work harder than usual. It has to explain, clearly and quickly, in a way that builds understanding before it asks for trust. The cornerstone of the launch was a fully animated brand video that walks viewers through the confusion and anxiety of private car sales before introducing Veme as the guide who makes it simple. From there, we developed a full campaign across social, digital and paid channels, including a suite of A/B-tested formats designed to build awareness, drive consideration and convert intent. Every asset was built around a single question: does someone watching this understand what Veme is and why they need it?
From strategy to screen
Beyond the campaign, Thirst led the design and development of the Veme website, the platform's primary home and conversion point, alongside the complete setup and branding of Veme's social presence. The work spanned 3D and 2D animation, illustration, copywriting, marketing strategy, and full campaign execution and rollout.
The result
Veme is now live and in market. A new category, clearly defined. A brand with genuine personality and a look that stands apart. Through close collaboration and a commitment to creative clarity, we helped bring a complex new idea to market in a way that feels simple, safe and above all, trustworthy.
