Annual Reports
Since 2019 we have been successfully creating RSL Victoria's Annual Reports, and this year we took on the task of developing a report that encapsulated the theme 'Reconnected'. This theme represented RSL's year of strengthened bonds with the veteran community and reconnecting with RSL members and the wider populations of the neighbourhoods, towns and suburbs in which their Sub-Branches are engrained.
The cover artwork was produced by Gordon Traill, a veteran artist, photographer, author, painter, volunteer and arts mentor at the Australian National Veteran Arts Museum (ANVAM), and set the tone for the design. Utilising a consistent visual identity; we paired highly legible font-sizes with functional call-outs to improve the readability and accessibility for their wide-ranging audience. By adhering to their brand guidelines and framework, we were able to achieve seamless brand alignment while still adopting a modern approach that didn't alienate audiences.
MUFTI Magazine
MUFTI is the bi-annual magazine of RSL Victoria, distributed to its members. This publication showcases editorial content that is relevant and helpful to both serving members and veterans.
Over the past six editions, we have taken the lead in designing MUFTI. Our goal has been to ensure effective communication of their key message, align with their brand architecture, and maintain a modern yet accessible style for their wide range of readers, including readers in their 90s.
Anzac Day March materials
In 2023, we created Anzac Day March materials, including an information booklet and map, with a strong focus on accessibility through design. We carefully selected legible fonts, intuitive layouts, and incorporated visual cues to ensure clear communication and easy navigation for attendees of all ages and backgrounds.
Our aim was to create inclusive materials that empower attendees to fully engage with the event and foster a sense of shared remembrance.
