The Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman engaged Thirst Creative to deliver their 2016 - 2017 Annual Report in both print and digital format.
By partnering with the Thirst team the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman team delivered a high quality digital and print annual report that received significant media attention nationwide.
The online version of their Annual Report needed to focus on strong data visualisation of their results in a mobile friendly format.
The messaging needed to educate the general public about the independence role the ombudsman plays in improving the telecommunications industry and showcase the statistics around complaints across the country and the sectors. The report also needed to help the public better understand the process of what to do if they have a dispute.
We partnered with their team by providing a transparent project management approach using Trello, along with sharing our methodology, tools and tips for internal stakeholder management, a piece that is critical to the successful delivery of such an important communications piece.
Our team broke down the content into 3 main sections, in order to make the report more user friendly and easier to digest. In doing so the team created the opportunity to include more interactive components and visuals.
To encourage readers to explore the key data and figures, we brought in data visualisation by utilising interactive graphs. This way users could interact with key data using either their touch screen or mouse.
