Roundabout Group works with clients and talent to build successful teams in the digital, tech and startup space. They offer a personalised recruitment service; consulting, headhunting and connecting talented individuals to challenging roles that change the world. Having first established itself as a specialty recruiter in the Melbourne digital community, Roundabout came to Thirst ready to take on its next phase of growth.
As part of the strategy, founder Bec Geyer was looking to solidify the brand strategy, evolve the visual language and build a digital presence that would act as portal for the business. By collaborating with our team of strategists, designers and developers, Roundabout Group is now set to continue to drive itself forward. The brand strategy was an essential part to growing the business. By identifying and consolidating the purpose, values and personality of Roundabout Group our team could focus in on what made it unique and represent the culture though all brand touch points. For Bec, it was all about fostering genuine connections with the digital community, connecting remarkable talent with innovative business teams that truly change the world.
“As part of the digital community, we are forever inspired by the innovation that surrounds us. We focus on building successful teams, by combining talented individuals that work dynamically with others to achieve a greater vision.” – Bec Geyer
Following the brand strategy, Thirst moved to evolve the visual direction of the brand. We took inspiration from the existing icon logo and original brand colours to create an energetic and welcoming visual language for the brand. Our team refined the “R” icon, introduced a pink/purple gradient #ontrend and set a photography style that showcased the collaborative power of teams.
‘When transforming the logo our focus was to bring the symbolic brand archetype to life. Inspired by the original design, we crafted a vector icon that would be distinctive and recognisable across the tech industry.’– Ben Harbinson
The Thirst team then took Roundabout Group online, creating a mobile first website that showcased the business and integrated smoothly with the JobAdder recruitment software. From UI to written content and images our aim was to create an energising experience that digitally represented every aspect of the brand. Covering off all digital touchpoints, Thirst Creative also rolled out the new brand across all major social media channels and developed a unique job listing template for Seek.com.au.
