Junior Digital Marketer

Thirst Creative is an independent, award-winning agency, seeking a Junior Digital Marketer with 1-2 years of experience to join our growing and dynamic team. The role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about data-driven marketing strategies and have experience with paid campaign optimisation, this is not a Content Creation role. You will develop and refine your skills in a creative and innovative environment that focuses on delivering measurable results for clients. About you

You are an enthusiastic digital marketer with a foundational understanding of key digital marketing channels and principles. Your strengths lie in campaign management, data analysis and strategy, and you excel at finding insights to inform and optimise marketing activities. You are highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Your passion for using technology and data to drive results makes you eager to learn and stay ahead of industry trends. You thrive in a dynamic agency environment, where you can challenge the status quo and bring innovative solutions to life. Key responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of digital marketing strategies through research and analysis.
  • Assist with campaign setup, performance tracking, and analysis, focusing on continual improvement.
  • Manage and optimise digital marketing campaigns across platforms such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest, ensuring strong ROI and performance.
  • Support the team with reporting, insights, and recommendations using platforms like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and other data tools.
  • Collaborate with team members to integrate data-driven insights into broader marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate on creative briefs, providing clear and concise direction to the design team.
  • Build relationships with clients and stakeholders to align with their needs and wants, and participate in and run client meetings.
  • Social media community management.
  • Assist the agency with its own marketing strategy and execution.

Key selection criteria

  • 1-2 years of experience in a digital marketing role, preferably within an agency environment with a varied client portfolio.
  • Intermediate understanding of digital marketing channels, including paid search (Google Ads), social media advertising, and email marketing.
  • Strong understanding of campaign management and optimisation.
  • ESSENTIAL: Experience with campaign management tools (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, etc.), Google Docs, Slides & Sheets.
  • NICE TO HAVE: Experience with platforms like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, Figma, Adobe, Canva, and marketing automation tools.
  • Ability to interpret data to make informed marketing decisions and improve campaign performance.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft clear and compelling content.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, eager to learn and contribute to team success.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
