Thirst Creative is looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with 3+ years experience and an ability to bring ambitious design and functionality to life.

Strong front-end development skills are essential, you must be able to develop custom responsive sites that seamlessly integrate with market leading plugins and APIs. Our agency primarily works with Craft CMS but experience across other platforms including Wordpress, Sanity and Shopify will be highly regarded. This is a key role for the business with a view to lead a team. The role requires excellent time management and communication skills, as you will work alongside the design and digital marketing team, implementing the development of all projects. This is an autonomous development role.

About you:

Key selection criteria

  • 3+ years experience as a Full Stack Developer in a digital studio
  • Ability to problem solve, create reusable solutions, clean code
  • Knowledge of current web standards including best practices for usability and accessibility
  • An excellent communicator, both oral and written. Ability to communicate and convey technical terms/processes to business stakeholders, colleagues, and team members
  • Confidence to present and explain ideas to clients and colleagues
  • Professional approach to business, attention to details and ability to accurately estimate tasks
  • Extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, SASS, Tailwind, JavaScript/Typescript and JS frameworks
  • Extensive knowledge of Vue.js & Nuxt.js
  • Experience with decoupled CMS implementation, including RESTful APIs, GraphQL
  • Solid knowledge of Craft CMS and WordPress
  • Hands on experience working with version control tools such as Git
  • Intermediate knowledge of PHP / MySQL
  • Browser testing for platforms (Mac / PC/ IOS / Android)
  • Understanding of GTM, Google Analytics and SEO
  • Understanding of WCAG compliance
  • Good knowledge of AWS services (S3), Netlify, Forge, Nginx, Linux, OSX, Cloudflare
  • Knowledge of Atlassian suite for software and project management
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
  • Passion for modern web design and coding best practices
  • Attitude to share/hone knowledge for yourself and your teammates and working collaboratively with a diverse range of team members.

Bonus

  • Experience with Shopify (front and back end)
  • Experience with Sanity
  • Knowledge of React, Angular
  • Knowledge of Webflow
  • Experience with public cloud infrastructure offerings (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP)
